Finding images to use on websites and blogs can be difficult. But, life got better in July when Getty Images updated their app and included features that make finding and using images so much easier to do. Watch the screencast below to find out why and how.
The Getty Images app is primarily geared to using images on the web – at least for those of us who are usually looking for images that are available for free and without having to go through a lot of copyright hoops. It works really well in that way. It also works really well as a tool for collaborating on finding and using images in web-based projects. With the lightbox feature members of a project team – teens or adults – can share images easily. And, for all of those times when you wanted or needed to have a copyright conversation with teens, teachers, and parents, the Getty Images app saves the day because you can access high-quality images with lots of features that open up opportunities to discuss copyright, how to select images with copyright in mind, and how to credit images used in different projects.
